Set over four levels, the design of Albatross was inspired by the timeless elegance of mid-century Palm Springs architecture.
The home presents clean modern forms finished in smooth render articulated with natural stone creating a sense of strength and solidity. Timber features add warmth while sub-tropical landscaping at high and low levels soften the structure, unifying it with its coastal location.
The contrast of bold lines and textured materials lend depth and character to the façade, a harmonious blend of contemporary sophistication echoed throughout the interiors. The motif of smooth recurring curves creates refined comfort both internally and externally while considered, luxurious finishes and light capturing voids offer understated grandeur and affable charm. Expansive windows frame breathtaking ocean views optimising the unparalleled location of this beautiful home.
With its striking presence and impeccable design, Albatross is a celebration of coastal living and an enriching addition to the Mermaid Beach vernacular.
